What to do if you have questions about your schedule

Rescheduling a Single Lesson

If you need to reschedule one specific lesson, please email us at help@hootreading.com

Rescheduling requests must be made at least 48 hours before the lesson start time.

Because lessons are 1:1, teachers’ schedules are confirmed in advance. The 48-hour notice helps ensure teachers are compensated for their time and allows us to maintain consistent scheduling for all families.

Please note that teachers are not able to reschedule lessons or make changes to schedules. All scheduling requests must go through the Hoot Reading support team.

Making Changes to Your Ongoing Lesson Schedule

If you’d like to change your child’s regular, ongoing lesson time, you can submit a schedule management request through your parent account. To do this:

  • Log in to the Hoot Reading app  

  • Go to your parent profile

  • Open the Billing & Invoices page  

  • On your Active Plan, select the cog wheel

  • Click Manage or Cancel Plan

Requests to change ongoing lesson times require a minimum of 7 days’ notice. This allows us to coordinate teacher schedules and ensure continuity for your child.
