How to Sign Up for Hoot Reading

Signing up for Hoot Reading is a guided, online process that helps you create your account, set up your child’s profile, and schedule lessons.

Step 1: Visit the Sign-Up Page

To begin, go to app.hootreading.com/sign-up.

From here, you’ll be guided through the registration process.

If you haven't already, you can book a time here to connect with one of our enrollment advisors for a free Hoot Reading Consultation.

Step 2: Create Your Parent Account

You’ll start by creating a parent account using your email address. During this step, you will:

• Verify your email address,

• Create a password, and  

• Populate some basic profile information.

Step 3: Set Up Your Child’s Profile and Schedule

Once you've created an account for the Hoot Reading App, you will be prompted to register your child.

You can do so by clicking the Register Now button, or by going to app.hootreading.com/student-registration.

From there, you will be prompted to:

• Add your child’s information

• Choose a lesson schedule that works for your family 

• Choose your preferred subscription plan

Step 4: Complete Registration

Once registration is complete, Hoot will match your child with one of our qualified teachers for the lesson times you requested. 

Returning to Your Hoot Registration

If you left partway through the registration process, you can continue at any point by going back to app.hootreading.com/student-registration.
