Choosing Your Hoot Reading Subscription

Hoot Reading subscriptions are designed to be flexible and easy for families to manage. When choosing a plan, you’ll decide how often your child attends lessons and whether you’d like to pay monthly or annually.

How Hoot Reading Plans Work

Hoot Reading is offered as an ongoing subscription. Your plan determines:

  • How many lessons your child attends each week

  • How your subscription is billed (monthly or annually)

All plans include:

  • Live, 1:1 lessons with a qualified teacher

  • Assessment-informed instruction

  • Ongoing progress monitoring

  • Access to the Hoot Reading app and library

Instruction, lesson quality, and support are the same across plans. The difference is how often lessons occur and how billing is structured.

Monthly vs Annual Plans

Families can choose between monthly and annual subscription options.

  • Monthly plans are billed month to month and offer flexibility if your needs change.

  • Annual plans are billed on an annual basis and offer a discounted rate compared to monthly pricing.

Both options provide the same lessons, instruction, and support. The choice comes down to whether you prefer shorter-term flexibility or long-term savings.

Lesson Frequency

When selecting your subscription, you’ll choose how many lessons your child attends each week, from one to three lessons.

Lesson frequency can affect how quickly skills build and how much practice your child receives. Some children benefit from steady, weekly support, while others make stronger progress with more frequent lessons.

If you’re unsure which option is best, the enrollment team can help you choose a lesson frequency that matches your child’s needs and goals.
