# Trouble Logging In

- Make sure you're on the website **[app.hootreading.com](https://new.hootreading.com/)**
- Ensure you have created your own password (the email comes from noreply@hootreading.com). 
- Check to make sure your device isn't auto-filling an old password.
- If you haven't received the create password email, the email link has expired, or you need to reset your password, go to app.hootreading.com and use the **I forgot my password** function.
