Many parents are surprised to learn that by Grade 4, 65% of children are reading below grade level.

How Hoot Works
WHAT MAKES HOOT READING DIFFERENT
We work with every child and teacher to develop an individual learning plan that grows with your child. This plan will include guided reading lessons from our carefully curated library of over 600 high quality levelled texts, personalized instruction, and assessments.
We are parents too, so we understand how important it is to have the right teacher for your child. All of our instructors are real teachers, trained in early guided reading strategies to help foster confidence in your child, and background checked prior to starting.
Our technology allows emerging readers and experienced teachers to read books together, no matter where they are. Our App was designed based on a research project at Sesame Workshop (the creators of Sesame Street).
