Location: Remote Within Canada (Headquarters in Winnipeg, Manitoba)
Reports to: Head of Growth

We are looking for a results-driven sales leader to join our growth team, focused on developing and closing new business opportunities in Canada. The ideal candidate has experience leading sales within the Canadian K-12 Education market, ideally in the realms of Literacy, Tutoring, or EdTech.
In this role, you will:
- Develop our strategy/sales plans to meet revenue targets
- Drive lead generation strategy and execution
- Actively drive sales pipeline; measure and monitor performance using the company CRM
- Attend industry events such as trade shows and conferences (virtual) to meet new prospects
This role will be evaluated on the following key performance metrics:
- Meet or exceed the company's quarterly and annual sales targets
- Pipeline activity and forecast accuracy
- Conversion from evaluation pilot programs to long term contracts
- Team productivity metrics as defined with the Co-founders
This job is perfect for someone who:
- Is excited to be on the ground floor of a social-impact startup, on a mission to change children’s lives through literacy
- Has excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and attention to detail
- Can be a problem solver and organized self-starter in an entrepreneurial environment
- Bring significant experience leading sales within the Canadian Education space
- Have a genuine passion for sales - both strategy and execution
- Have a proven track record in increasing revenues and growing market share
- Have experience working in a fast-paced startup environment
